At the end of your MDA you will have SPF 40 applied at Firefly

For the following 48 hours

Avoid sunlight and artificial UV rays

Avoid touching the area that has been treated – always wash hands

Do not apply make-up for 12 hours – lip make-up and mascara are allowed

Avoid all heat treatments

Avoid exercise including swimming for 24 hours

Do not use AHA’S or Gycolics for 7 days Facials

Apply a SPF cream regularly minimum 30

Avoid perfumed products

Only use Crystal Clear products for 24 hours

Continue with your skin care routine as discussed with Amanda

Eye treatments

Eyelash tint – continue as normal

Eyebrow tint – continue as normal

Eyebrow shape – avoid touching area and avoid make-up for 24 hours

Party lashes- avoid touching lashes; do not pull lashes; comb through with eyebrow brush; avoid oily eye make-up remover.

Waxing
Aftercare & home care advice

At the end of your waxing treatment a soothing after-wax lotion will be applied. It is normal for the area to appear red.

For the following 24 hours

Avoid touching area – always wash hands

Do not apply make-up – face

Do not apply perfumed products including deodorants, soaps, lotions etc

Do not wear very tight clothing that may cause friction – body

Do not expose area to natural or artificial UV light

Do not apply false tan

Do not expose to heat treatments or swimming

Nails
Aftercare & home care advice

Manicure: wear protect gloves for washing up, house work and gardening; apply hand cream/ lotion daily

Pedicure: apply foot cream daily

Gel Polish: hands wear protect gloves for washing up, house work and gardening

Makeup
Aftercare & home care advice

Remove all make-up before going to sleep as discussed with Amanda

Apply moisturiser

Exfoliation

Continue to apply body lotion/ cream twice daily

Massage
Aftercare & home care advice

For the following 24 hours

Drink plenty of fresh water – it is normal to urinate frequently after massage

Continue to relax – find a quiet warm place to rest

Avoid intense exercise- gym, classes, swimming, and team sports

Keep warm- avoid drafts

Avoid heavy meals – next two hours

Avoid alcohol – after holistic massage

Avoid heat treatments – sauna steam & sunbeds

Complete stretch exercise if advised
